Hi,

I need to connect a group of 8 unbalaced line level outputs to a device
with 8 balanced inputs at a distance of about 30 feet.

My best possible options seem to be...
1. Use an active 8-channel DI
2. Use a passive 8-channel DI
3. Use no DI and just wire the unbalanced ground/signal to cold/hot, and
connect shields at 1 end only (30 feet seems kinda long for that)

Is the Ebtech Line Level Shifter any good? The specs describe the THD
at 1KHz, but that's not a big help without knowing what happens to the
rest of the spectrum.
