Here are my specs

2 gig ram .. amd 2800+.. xp sp2 mbox... pro tools le 6.7 LE

I installed it 3 days ago and it seemed to working ok. Comehome the
next day and protools would no longer record anything I played. I would
create a new project, create a track, but the mixer volume graph would
not react and the recordings were empty

I uninstalled, deleted the drivers, deleted the pref folders, deleted
the digidesign folders on all the drives and rebooted

Reinstalled.

plugged my guitar in port 2 (guitar is mono left). Set it to line and I
hear myself in the headphones fine.
Create a new project, add a mono track .. picked the input to be 2 -
mono left, but nothing gets to protools.. I've tried port 1 and stereo
too.

I'm stumped and not sure what to do..

obviously I am a pro tools noob too..
