Sony PUA-238 antiskate
I have a Technics SL 1100A turntable that is fitted with a Grace arm that
uses a thin piece of what looks like fishing line between the arm and the antiskate device. A number of years back that line broke, and I replaced it with a very fine Nylon fishing line. I can't remember what diameter the line is but it has been working ok ever since. BTW the original piece was tied to the two posts but I took the easy way out using glue to connect the new piece. Just my 2 cents Geoley |

The Sony is different in that the line actually exerts tension on the arm without an external weight. Kal |
