Here is something which may seem off topic to some in this group,
given their argumentive mood of late. http://www.audioxpress.com/magsdirx/...da/stewart.pdf Message to Bret Ludwig & other pretenders- Don't bother looking. The subject does not meet the high standards you freely admit too. Permission is given to 'killfile' me now. I don't want to be left out. Cheers to all, John Stewart |

Cheers to all, John Stewart Sure saves on machining and broken tubes to put everything into the box. I shall remember the drain ventilator idea. Walk us a through the ground lift on the cathode if you have time. It would make a change to have something technical going on. TIA. Did you after almost forty years refinish the case for the photos or do you just look after your gear well? Andre Jute |

All of the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and Intermodulation Distortion (IMD) measurements
were taken with one of the Pico Technologies Virtual Instruments. And the amp sounds very good for the application I had in mind. aX I'm sure it works great for a garage amp, but so does a salvaged car radio. Would you go to the bother to build one today? |
