![]() Do you own a Pioneer DV-59AVi DVD Player? If so, do you have the audio connected through the i-Link (IEEE-1394) port? I would truly apprecuitae your help. Does your i-link connection work as advertised? Are there any problems? What receiver or preamp are you usingf? I have this player and have connected it to an Intehgra research RDC-7.1 pre-amp. The i-Link connection does not work. So far, I have tried 2 i-link cards in the RDC-7.1, 2 DV-59AVi players and 3 i-Link cables, all with the same (non) result. Pioneer tells me that their player should worlk fine with any i-Link compatible preamp. I' e shipped the preamp to integra research and they claim that the i-Link connection is working fine with *their* DVD player. I am stuck with $7000 equipment that doesn't work and each company claims that *their* piece works just fine.... -- Ron |
