Any suggestions for purchasing a decent surround sound receiver for under 400 dollars? Both Consumer Reports and Sound & Vision magazine like the Panasonic HE-100. It's around $225-$250 USD. Consumer Reports has reviewed groups of receivers. Read at library or: www.consumerreports.org BTW, the Panasonic HE-70 (about $150 USD) has almost all the features of the HE-100. You can use the money saved to buy better speakers, which will make the biggest difference in almost any audio system, or more CDs and DVDs. |
