Default vandersteen 2wq sub set up question

several posts about the 2wq sub say that when setting the crossover
box for your amps input impedence use one above, the impedence and one
below, the right one will be apparent. i have an amp with 200k input
impedence, rogue m 120. so i can't go one over, but at 200k and 100k
ever at 50k i really don't hear much difference. what should i hear
and how do i arrive at the proper setting? thanks for any help
