In response to my post concerning new developments in ABC/HR softwa



somebody posted a non-specific complaint to spamcop.net, and I
received a call from my ISP (Time/Warner roadrunner).

I should note that this was a single post to a single newsgroup, and
that spamcop, according to my ISP representative, is typically
involved in email spam.

Obviously, I don't believe that my post was either spam or outside of
the FAQ for this newsgroup (see debate from a year ago). ABC/HR is
free software whose purpose it is to evaluate or to help form opinions
about audio.

The resolution is that I have forwarded a copy of the complaint
received by my ISP to with the
counter-claim that I have been falsely accused of spamming.

Isn't this newsgroup just so much fun?

Yes, we've had this conversation before, over a year ago. It's
interesting that insults and libel and all other such noise, which
form the vast majority of the reams of posts to this group,
entertaining though they might be, apparently don't violate the
charter in the way that you and my anonymous accuser seem to think
that my one post about ABC/HR software does (developed with the
express intent to evaluate and help form opinions about audio).

In any case, I have made my case to spamcop.net, pointing them to the
charter of RAO, and they can decide if they will take action against
my accuser.

And I suggest you (and others who don't want to read "garbage about
testing") simply put me in your killfile, although from my past
posting history, it probably won't need to be used very often.

shows that he called me a "pedophile" on RAO more than 100 times. Wouldn't
it be ironic if the same little sociopath were behind the aliases

I'd summarize sockpuppet wheel's Usenet audio career as attracting as much
attention as possible by acting as stupid and ignorant as possible while
still remaining nominally on-topic. Besides being resistant to logic and
facts, he can't format posts, he can't spell, and he can't write.
Regrettably, it's a sure-fire attention-getter. I'm surprised that a RAHE
troll named Ludovic Mirabel isn't suing him for patent infringement...

Coming from RAO's great libeler George M. Middius this explanation
deprive the complainer from any credibility.

Mr. Atkinson should better ask :
- Why S888Wheel who has engaged a lawsuit against Arnold Krueger spend
so much time to debate of it ?
- Is S888Wheel really confident in the Californian and Federal laws ?

*My* answer would be :
- 50% because of Middius' incitations.
- 50% because of S888Wheel's propension to unshamed exhibitionism.

That part doesn't surprise me at all. It's just Arny's
