Hi All,
One problem I've been faced with in my system, is poor acoustical, and
vibration isolation of my Turntable.

My system resides in a fairly large Premier Brand Rack consisting of two
Towers 4 shelves high, with 4 Video bridge shelves tying the two towers
together. My Turntable resides on the top Video Shelf (Intended to
actually suport a large TV monitor)

Unfortunately, I don't have Concrete floors in my listening room, and
the use of my Subwoofer (Sunfire True Mk-IV) at anything louder than
Dr's office levels begins to cause feedback-distortion.

I had considered at first maybe buying a Isolation Base, perhaps
something from somebody like Bright Star, or the like?

Then I considered going the "pretty route", and having a 1.75" thick
slab of Travertine Stone cut at a Quarry to the HW-19's base dimensions,
but then thought what real isolation properties would this solid slab of
stone which closely resembles Marble have versus an either sand filled
Base, or an Air Bladder supported Base?

I have seen very fancy models at a high end electronics show years ago,
but the prices of these ($1000+) is way over my head.

The base dimensions of the HW-19 is relatively large, and I wonder what
you folks would recommend as a good isolation base that would not break
the bank for this particular model Turntable, and would best help cure,
or lessen my Turntable woes? TIA, Mark

Get it wall-mounted.
And isolate the sub with rubber feet from the floor, in your own
interest and that of your neighbors.
