disappeared from so much audio equipment and how people make their systems
sound better without them.

The subject of Equalizers came up.

I know some folks use them, some don't.

Those who don't how do you achieve smooth frequency response without such
devices?
Do you use only room treatments or is all about trying to find speakers that
blend with the room imposed problems that are bound to occur?
