NS-10M tweeters
Has anyone found a place that will actually repair these? After replacing
several at $100 a pop, I'm wondering if this is a possibility. Does Waldom or some other OEM speaker component manufacturer make a repair kit for them? Has anyone heard the results of such a fix? Tim |

No. The things are basically $2 tweeters from an Asian plant, and so nobody is really willing to invest in setting up a line to rebuild them. The fact that they are becoming rare items and the prices are going through the roof probably won't change this, because as this happens, the quantity that people want to buy is dropping. I suggest fusing the tweeters. It may change the sound a little bit, but it will save you a lot of money in the long run. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
