Default Echo Indigo IO card installation

I've had to re-install my Echo Indigo IO soundcard to my laptop lately..the
same combo that has been working faultlessly for 12 months. Now after
installing the same (latest) driver as before ..the 6.11 version...the
computer crashes or freezes after I'm prompted to insert the Indigo card ---
after the Installwizard has done its stuff. What gives....? Does anyone with
specific experience of this issue have any advice ? I'm running XP
Professional, service pack 2..but thats the same as when it was all working
fine !
Thanks
Ray

Default Echo Indigo IO card installation

Hi Indigo RAPers,
I received this "patch" from Echo Tech Support this morning..certainly can't
complain about any slowness from them ? If you are phobic of sharp
objects..keep away from it..lol !
Here is the fix:
http://www.echoaudio.com/downloadfil...o_IO_or_DJ.pdf

Interesting that it doesn't appear to be generally available from the Echo
website..I had to request it..........
This may help others suffering from a similar problem to mine ?
Best Wishes,
Ray
