Default Hi-Fi Furniture

What is the best way to house a rather large stereo system? I am looking
for a cabinet for an audio only system, which has full doors, so that
the electronics can be completely concealed from sight when the stereo
is not being used.

Most of what I find on the market around here, is designed for A/V
systems, centered around a television, and anything modern looking
leaves all of the equipment exposed, which is very undesierable.

The unit I currently have, is a very large piece of Danish modular
furniture, from the 80s, and I am unhappy with it - it leaves everything
exposed, takes up too much space, and has white laminate shelves which
are easily scuffed, and look dated.

Anyhow the point of this post is to find out what other people do, to
house a large hi-fi, with tube amplifiers - and yet not let it
completely take over the room.
