Under $600: Best Buy- whatever's on sale
$600-1500: Onkyo (never mind how many disks can be loaded, it doesn't matter if you want good sound) http://www.onkyomm.com/model.cfm?m=H...&class=Systems Over $1500: you're on your own. Listen to Lexmark and other highend stuff. If you have that much money, you should at least be trying to refine your ear. Take time and choose what gives you goosebumps or gets you going. Or something. Just get your money's worth. There's some amazing hardware out there, but at this level you should be able to audition a setup in your listening room and decide if it's what you want or not. Remember to listen before you buy, and try to get stuff that matches; in other words, make sure all the speakers have the same basic components. That means all the parts will have the same kind of sound, which is very important. So....where are you at? Low rent? Mid-fi? Highend? Enquiring minds might wanna know. "Yogi" wrote in message om...
