Default Problems with an Alpine CVA1000R + TV Tuner

Hi

Just recently I completed my car installation with a TV Tuner and
before a DVD-player - that's about what is possible to connect to the
already elderly Alpine system I have in my car.

Ever since the installation of the TV tuner (also genuine Alpine) I got
the problem that either the TV works but Navigation is not able to
display anything or the Navigation works but the TV just "scrolls" the
picture very fast from bottom to top (or the other way round) and makes
it essentially not useful at all.

Does anyone of you has a clue what I could change (the professional who
installed the whole thing told me something about a RGB cable which
might be missing?).

The whole configuration reads like that:
- Alpine CVA-1000R
- Alpine Navigation NVE-N055ZP
- Alpine RGB/Composite Converter: KCE-100V
- Alpine TV-Tuner TUE-T012
- Alpine CD Changer: CHA-1214
- Synergie DVD player (connected to the auxiliary port)

Apparently, the navigation is NTSC only (which is set automatically and
cannot be changed in the system configuration) and the TV tuner seems
to be PAL (but for that reason the RGB/Composite converter exists?)

Thanks in advance for any help in this matter!
Thomas

P.S.: If it is important: the location is Europe, Switzerland and all
parts have been bought either in Switzerland or Germany (so the things
should be compatible)
