I am the 2nd owner of regular '95 Cherokee (not Grand) and am replacing
the stereo, which is not original. The Jeep harness was cut, so the aftermarket harness adapters do me little good. Can someone decode the original Jeep audio wire colors for me? Here are the wires I could eee (it's a bit of a mess back there!) BLUE w/Orange Stripe BLUE w/Yellow St BLUE w/Red St. Solid Purple Purple w/White St Orange w/Blue St Pink Solid Green Solid Lt Blue w/REd St Brown w/Red St Brown w/Yellow Brown w/Blue St Black 13 wires total - did I miss any? Also, how to remove the dash trim? It's blocked by the steering wheel trim (around ignition lock) which I cannot for the life of me remove. Thanks - huge help and greatly appreciated. Doug T. |
