They have requested that the phrase be removed from the Oxford English Dictionary, and are promoting the phrase "Couch slouch" instead. A spokesman for the OED, somewhat baffled, explained that the dictionary reflects language in current use - not the other way round. The potato council are to protest outside parliament on Monday.
