Default Is there some sort of digital audio player that is hard drive based?

Yes, I know that there are these small MP3 players, but I was wondering if
there is anything like that for home audio. And something that would play a
bit better quality (altough I suppose that is something that could be done by
setting the MP3 level to 320K.)

One option is to just hook a MP3 player up to your home
stereo using a common, readily-available cable.

Another option involves using a PC for your digital player.

There are also some devices that facilitate networking your
home stereo into a networked PC in your house.

For the best results, play .wav files or lossless compressed
..wav files.
