Cheers, Margaret I have Forte Agent 2.0 and Outlook Express 6. I like OE 6 better, it's easier to navigate. Agent is suppose to be far more extensive program. It is a nightmare for those that are easily troubled with setting the margins in their post properly. I'm referring to none other than the one McKelvy idolized. |

![]() Virgil said: Nice for text but no multiple server features. Incorrect. You can set up Agent for multiple servers. To set up Agent for multiple users or servers: 1. Create a separate data folder for each user or news server (e.g., c:\agent\his and c:\agent\hers). This folder will store the databases for the new instance of Agent. 2. Copy file AGENT.INI from the original data folder to the folder you created in step (1). 3. Create a shortcut for each user or news server with the program (e.g., c:\agent\agent.exe) specified as the Target, and the user's or news server's folder (e.g., c:\agent\his and c:\agent\hers) in the "Start in" field. |

In article ,
says... Opera 8 or Outlook Express? Been toying with the Opera and I think I like it. It's supposed to be safer as well but I'm not so sure how. What do you use and recommend? Everyone has their own preference. It's really a matter of what you get used to and if it meets your needs. I tried Opera but couldn't get used to it. On my access page I talk about WinVN and Agent, but that's just me. Many still recommend Xnews, which takes getting used to, but is real nice once you do. I'm sticking to what I know. http://members.aol.com/whosbest54/access.htm whosbest54 -- The flamewars are over...if you want it.
