Default 5.1 computer speakers with multiple inputs

I'm thinking of trying something a little different with my home stereo
system, buying a mid-end mixing console and some mid-to-high-end computer
speakers to replace the conventional amp and "stacked boxes" setup.

In the interest of future expansion, I want to get a computer speaker setup
that supports direct 5.1 connection (saving me a spot on the mixer and
giving me 5.1 sound on my DVD player) as well as a standard aux connection
(for the mixer).

Hard as HELL to figure out which ones feature this. They don't seem to list
in on standard spec sheets. Does anyone have any recommendations? The
Logitech Z5500 seems to be a good option for me: I can wire the DVD player
and a couple of other audio devices through it, and route the rest through
the mixer.

But recommendations are welcome. Thanks!
