Hello friends,

I think lately I have been quite a schmuck on this forum, particularly
vitriolic to George, Margaret and in a roundabout way to John Atkinson.

I have been going through quite a rotten time lately highlighted by the
break-up with my longtime girlfriend. I figured that channeling some of
my emotional rage into anonymous personal attacks would cathartic and
therapeutic.

Alas, it has done little to alleviate my suffering, but it has resulted
in several unfortunate missteps on this forum.

I apologize to all (including Mike McKelvy) for being, for lack of a
better word, an asshole.

To Middius in particular, I really don't know or frankly don't care what
your sexual orientation is. To resort to such shallow bigotry was both
undignified and hypocritical. I do sincerely apologize to you for that.

This is unprecedented on RAO. I have to admit I didn't think you were
serious, except about duh-Mikey, who is *such* a damned retard.

Anyway, no harm done. RAO is all in fun. Except for the 'borgs, who think
"audio is a deadly serious business".

I'm sorry to hear about your heartache. Just keep in mind that there's
another young lady somewhere out there waiting to be charmed by you. I think
men are born hunters anyway so enjoy the chase! Also remember that there are
two kinds of participants here. Those who have chosen RAO as part of their
life and those whose life is a part of RAO. I recommend that you stay in the
first camp because I really like you - only based on what I've read, of
course.

Perhaps going on a real bender tonight and playing hookie tomorrow is not
such a bad idea...

Thank you for the kind words, Maggie. It's funny that we a pill for
practically everything these days but a broken heart! What hath man not
wrought? ;-)

Anyway, I intend to get back to a schedule of 60-hour work weeks,
regular squash games and the occasional evening tipple.

I am right. I suppose stupid isn't quite the right word. Ignorant is
the right word. It takes an extraordinary amount of political
historical ignorance to think the Constitution was a one page document.
It is rather shallow to base opinions of such important documents on
*pictures.* It strikes me as the very sort of thing Mikey would do.
Mikey was always quick with a highly charged yet painfully illinofrmed
political opinion. Like I said, there may be two people on RAO with
such strikingly similar kinds of stupidity but I think the odds are
against it.

wanted to print it up on a single page, you'd need a magnifying glass
to read it. At "normal" print size on an 8X10 page, it runs 8 - 10
