Default Formula for figuring port size

I there a specific formula for figuring box sizes and ports? I have 2
4ohm svc subs w/ specs @ (Fs) 30Hz and 88.9 dB (Spl). I also do not
have a clear under- standing of what those mean. I have a rather large
generically ported box for these and some of the lows seem to drag out
in a sick sound, @ high volumes. I am not pushing much power (100w rms
x2 @ 2ohms) and am trying for the deepest cleanest sound I can get w/o
playing the distortion many drivers seem to fall deaf on. thnx
