![]() Folks, I'm looking at doing a research study at work. We would need to record conversations between several people moving around, inside and outside a vehicle. It almost certainly would not be possible to find a spot to put a stationary mic (or mics) that would would pickup the conversation of all participants. There's discussion of using wireless mics. One way to do this would be to get a bunch of wireless mics and receivers and use a mixer to mix them all down the recorder. Since all conversations will be mixed on the fly to a single track, there's not really any need to keep the inputs separate at any point. Would it be possible to save the cost/complexity of buying several receivers and a mixer, by having all transmitters send on the same frequency to a single receiver and recording from that receiver? Would that allow us to hear everyone? Does anyone have any suggestions for other technologoes that might accomplish this for not a lot of money? Thanks, -Scott McKnight |
