Shure E2C
I bought these a few weeks ago and have a problem. I don't know if these
are defective or if this behavior is by design. Essentially, when I turn the volume up to a certain level (above 22 or 24 on my Rio Carbon 5GB), the sound cuts out, as if the volume is too high and it doesn't want to damage my ears. Sounds strange, but that's what happens. Could anyone else with this model and a Rio carbon or similar MP3 player comment on this? Thanks! -- Michael Sovitzky MCSE: W2K |

I have not experienced any problem with playing the combination at very loud levels. I suspect that the Rio Carbon may be to blame. Use the earphones with another CD player and confirm that they work. Rio MP3 products have a poor reliability reputation, but there is excellent support from company engineers from the following site: http://forums-riovolution.com/ Just post the same question on the Rio Carbon forum. |
