Default Unusual Candor from High End Vendor

What is the difference between the XA series and the X series?

The XAs are Single-ended Class A amplifiers, based on the X
series front end and the Aleph output stage. The X series are high
biased Class A/AB amps.

What does the meter do?
Basically nothing. The meter shows bias and since the XA
amplifiers are Class A, the bias is fixed. But it looks cool.

They told me that originally, it was hooked up to an internal citrus fruit,
but they had to drop it due to shelf life concerns.
