Unusual Candor from High End Vendor
What is the difference between the XA series and the X series? The XAs are Single-ended Class A amplifiers, based on the X series front end and the Aleph output stage. The X series are high biased Class A/AB amps. What does the meter do? Basically nothing. The meter shows bias and since the XA amplifiers are Class A, the bias is fixed. But it looks cool. |

They told me that originally, it was hooked up to an internal citrus fruit, but they had to drop it due to shelf life concerns. |
