Manual for ADS R1 receiver?

Hi,

Just purchased a used R1 and am looking for a manual. Or someone who=20
can tell me what the "linear" button does. Seems like when it's out=20
some kind of loudness circuit is switched in. When it's in, loudness=20
and volume both seem to go away. Anyone know anything about this model?
