Default Going XM with CDA7839

Well, I've decided to make the plunge and go with XM radio due to the amount
of driving that I do and life on the road. I have a couple questions for
those of you that are more familiar with this technology and install tricks.

First and foremost. I own an Alpine CDA7839 with the AI net control. After
I purchase an adaptor for line input how do I set it to select an aux input?
The local shop gave me the RTFM run around and I read it many times.
Nothing about setting up for an aux input was found. Any Ideas?

Second, I will be placing the antenna (XM) within close proximity of a
(legal) CB antenna. Will the CB interfere with the XM reception? I highly
doubt that it would because of the freq difference but I thought I'd ask.

Any insight to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Chad
