well, my problem started a couple of weeks ago - i'm trying to design a
sub's enclosure... the sub is SPL's splw-12 (a 12" 2200W sub). i am trying to stick to the manual's specs (they recommend a 2.4 cu.ft with dual 4"x16.75" ported enclosure ), and even if i disregard my physical limitations, i can't seem to find valid dimensions to a real enclosure... the physical dimensions of the sub itself and the tubes for the ports allways lead me to a total volume equal or greater than twice the recommended one. what do i do ? am i too stupid for calculations of this kind or it is just that i miss something ? |
