Default Output transformer for old kmd tube-amp gone

Hi,
got an old KMD hybrid-amp through ebay. It's an amp with two 6L6-GC
Tubes and 100W output. The transformer burnt off in my first week. There
seems to be no chance to get a diagram or other specifications in the
internet or elsewhere. To order a new output transformer I need
informations of specs I have to search for or to give. And - where to
get one for a payable price. If possible, in Germany.

Grüss dich Rolf!
Vielleicht hat die fa. Welther in Frankfurt diese Transformatoren ab
Lager.

Mist!
Hatte bestimmt nicht meine Kopf dabei.
Dass soll heissen:
fa. Welter in Düsseldorf.

Hallo Sander,

Laden hier gefunden:
http://www.experience-electronics.de/index.htm

Hi,
You say this amp uses two 6L6 output tubes? CHances are it delivers
at most 50 watts. A pair of 6L6 output tubes will work with an output
transformer with a primary impedance of between 4500 and 6600 ohms. Does
your present output transformer have two extra primary taps for the
screen grids of the 6L6's? If so you will need a transformer with these
extra taps. This is commonly called an ultra-linear type output
transformer. Even if you do not use these taps, you can still use this
type of transformer. Hammond Manufacturing makes many output
transformers and has ones with both 4300 ohm and 6600 ohm primaries in
the 50 watt power range. They generally run around $70 - $80 USD.
You can get these at Antique electronics supply at:
www.tubesandmore.com
Triode Electronics has transformers for guitar amps at:
www.triodeelectronics.com

Hope this helps
Bill B.
