Hi
I'm getting ready to go over a Heathkit AA-181. I noticed it has one of those PEB's (I think that's what it's called). These are the modules which incorporate components into a brown blob with leads. I still haven't found a schematic, but no worry about that. This blob is a problem, however, since I want to retain the tone controls. I found two other Heathkit pre-amp sections which use the same component, and was wondering if Heathkit used the same one for it's home equipment. The network contains the components for the tone controls. The component has the following number: 1346203 Thanks Bob Hedberg Bob H. Just grab that plate in one hand, the chassis in the other, and FEEL the power of tube audio!!! (not literally, of course, just kidding. DON'T DO THAT!) |
