Default Narrow DVD Player

Hi, I am looking for a narrow DVD player (13" wide or less) for a
client. I have worked in the Audio/Video industry for 10+ years and
have a lot of experience, however I can't seem to find one.

Thank You for your help.

Here's one http://tinyurl.com/4es58 It seems to show up under a number of
badges. Cheap too.

**Denon make a few models and, I expect, so do quite a few others.

Thanks Trevor, Does your store have any of the Denon Models? If so what
model #? I looked at Denon's web site, however I didn't see any.

Thanks!

**I don't stock Denon, but I buy it in when I require it. I don't know where
you are, so any model numbers I provide you with may not be available in
your area.

Oh, ok. I am in the US so if you are not the DVD player would most
likely be for a different region. Thank you for your help though. I am
really hoping to find a better player than the cheap ones.

Thanks, but I need just the component. I can't use a whole system on
this job.

Then buy the component. What's wrong with you?

Philips makes (or made) a small DVD player that stands up one end.
Maybe two inches thick. Can't remember the model name. Will post again
if I do.

Memorex made a similar player.

Spectra makes another DVD player that stands on end. However, it's a
"Hello Kitty" model, so I suspect your client could love or hate that
model! ;-)

The TEAC Reference series includes some narrow DVD players.

Yet another small DVD player, or really a computer with a DVD player:
The new $500 Apple Mac Mini computer. About 2" high and 6.5" inches
square. You'd need to add a keyboard, mouse, or remote control, but it
the Mac Mini can be mounted near a TV unobtrusively and connected to
the TV, if the TV has computer-style connections.

Somewhere, maybe on the web, I've seen a Mac Mini mounted to the back
of a big LCD or plasma TV screen.
