I thought I'd email Mike and ask about any plans to manufacture a
7868. Here's his reply:

Hi Dave,


We are considering this, but we have not made a final decision to proceed on
this, as the volume would be small since no one makes a 7868 product. (You
are right about complications even though guts are the same)


If we did proceed, we would not have stock till at least the end of 2004.


So if anyone out there is interested, give Mike a holler and let him
know. Tell your friends, too. (I could use 6 quads and a few pairs)
