Les Paul always wanted to have a Les Paul Signature Altec 604. It's
unknown whether he would use it for his Les Paul Signature Guitar, but
what is known is that at 89- an advanced age for humans indeed, as
reflected by the recent death-from-old-age of Arthur Miller at that
same age-he won't have the chance much longer. Perhaps Altec Pro can
get with Mr. Paul to "Finish the Picture" before he heads up there to
audio Valhalla.
