Default Note to Arny Krueger

Lest anyone doubt that "Tom" (aka, "Surf') was urging people to file
false police reports:

Here is post from "Surf" (aka, "Tom") a day later:

http://tinyurl.com/5ywqj

NNTP posting host: 12.252.34.130 (all of Surf/Tom's posts came from
this IP at that time)

When I saw that email, I knew "Tom" was a vile piece of waste matter
and a sleazy, two-faced SOB.

Contents of the post at that URL:

begin quote ---------------------------

Fellow Freedom Fighters,

Tomorrow is the day. You should both have the
package. Tomorrow morning each of us:

1) sends the package by email from at least three of
our email accounts.

2) sends a copy of the package by fax to the Grosse
Point PD and the Mich State PD.

3) makes a phone call to each PD claiming to be an
outraged citizen of the Internet demanding that the
Beast be brought to justice for years of abuse and
illegal activities.

This should stir things up quite a bit....enough that
they'll contact Arny, demand access to his computer
and probably want to confiscate it. If there's enough
evidence on the computer, justice will be done. If
not, I think we will have instilled a fear of god into
the beast enough that he will take us seriously from
now on. Regardless, his ego should take some serious
time to recover... if ever.

Jamie, I know school has started for you. I hope you
will have time tomorrow to do your part. Let me know.
I think it's important that this effort is well
coordinated for the result to be maximal.

end quote ---------------------------

Yes, anybody who thinks that there are conspiracies on RAO is obviously
paranoid. ;-)

This particular conspiracy appears to be one that entails the comission of
one or more illegal acts, not to mention the conspiracy itself.

This is an individual who:

1) Is sick (mentally).

2) Has too much time on his hands.

3) Needs to get out more, or at least get a girlfriend (or
boyfriend).

4) Is aware that tweako audio is in trouble.

Congratulations, Harold. I had no idea you'd seen the light about Krooger.

2) Has too much time on his hands.

Same as above.

3) Needs to get out more, or at least get a girlfriend (or
boyfriend).

Oh no. Do you have any idea what you're saying? We know what Krooger
fantasizes about, and why the Kroobitch has iced him out. How clueless are
you, anyway?

4) Is aware that tweako audio is in trouble.

Oops, you shorted out. This notion doesn't constitute an "awareness". More
of a fantasy. The first problem is that you've never defined your pet
bugbear, other than arbitrary price limits. Perhaps you should lay out a
formal definition of that scary monster.

The big problem with your fantasy is that high-end audio, or fringe audio,
or carriage-trade audio, etc., has always been a tiny fraction of the
overall consumer audio market. Several people have pointed out that tubed
gear is accounting for an *increasing* share of the market for
electronics. If that's true, it may well be the result of the market
positioning of those boxes: Whereas they used to be a genuine hobby
segment, now they're positioned in the exclusivity segment.

The third problem with your fantasy is that you're deranged. Not as badly
as Krooger, I will note.

So there you go, Clerkie. Two right and two wrong. A massive improvement
on your average. ;-)

Dave, I am retired. I draw a pension. I have earnings coming
in from stock dividends. I am about to receive SS money.

But, yes, I do take out the garbage and do just about
everything else around the house that involves maintenance
and repair. Plenty of free time for that sort of thing, and
plenty left over for RAO, too.

Oops, got to go feed the cats.

Maybe that's Harold's new "job". Around here, pet sitters charge $30 per
day for 2 visits. That includes feeding, grooming, and quality play-time
with feathers and such. Oh, and cleaning out the litterbox, of course.

You don't get it, do you? You're not a genius, are you?

Why did I send you the email? Huh?
Do you think I was trying to recruit you?
Do you think I sent it to you by accident ?
Do you think there was really a "package"?
Do you think there was really a conspiracy?
Was I really recommending that you "do the same"?

I didn't _deny_ sending you the email Richie.
Here - read it again.

And, when Marc reported me to my local police as a pedophile and
TomYutz recommended that others do the same.......

another lie. prove I recommended this.

What am I _denying_ Rich?

My cat is a self-contained, low-maintenance sort of creature. I don't
have to "go feed him". I basically occasionally refill the dish with
dry food and he's quite happy with that and the occasional field mouse
(he's an indoor/outdoor kinda guy).

Of course, the downside to that is that he tends to be rather aloof,
which is OK with me. He takes affection on his own terms and doesn't
deign to come when called unless HE wills it.

Notice that he denied the email until faced with absolute proof that it
traced back to him. Then he goes into an "I duped you" routine,
reminescent of the "who duped who" catfight he got into with "Jamie

Oh yeah - I sure was duped! The first thing I did when I saw that email

The next thing I did was post it on RAO. Just like I had previously

earlier.

Don't be so quick to generalize. Aloofness varies by the individual
kittycat. One of mine is aloof, but the other one is almost doglike in some

At my house, the cat (Not Mine) serves at my sufferance. If she ****es me
off, out the door she goes. She is very low maintenance, though. she
better be! I don't even have to clean the box, I have a volunteer do that.
If I feel like it, I'll feed her some food in the morning. After all, she's
Not Mine.
What do I care?

The letter was not true, Arny. You know that.

I sent it to bonniebugs (Richie) wanting him to think
it was intended for booniebug (Marc). I don't know
what he thought, but he forwarded it to you. That was
the hope. I suppose you could say it was a bad joke
and a lie. We laughed. I don't think too many folks
would agree it was reprehensible. It was just a dupe.
Richie was the dupe. He was duped. The funny thing
is - neither you nor Richie would ever admit to being
