Default RAO: religious analogy

In this analogy,
JA = benevolent God, complete with a noninterventionist policy in human
affairs, and scriptures of doubtful authorship. Who the hell is Sam Tellig,
anyway? Don't tell me his last name is really Gillet; the Stereophile
manuscripts shall remain apocryphal.

Arny Krueger = Devil, in the sense of his desire to destroy John Atkinson's
Universe, his use of scatological expressions such as "piehole", and his
drummer's beat of easy satisfaction -- sell your soul to ABX, indulge the
cheap, fleshy pleasures of QSC amplifiers. His Dark Earthly Presence is a
church: COPE, The Church of Plugged Ears.

Mike McKelvy = Beelzebub; Beelzebub Prince of the Seraphim, the next unto
Lucifer, the Devil's right-claw man.

"Middius" is a netherworld Jinn; proof that even the Devil has fleas.

"Calcerise" is a modern, inclusive, theologian.

I'm a civil libertarian, concerned about the presence of COPE in my
community. The last time I was so concerned was when the NAZIs adopted a
road in Oregon.

None of the above is intended to address the real-world characteristics of
the named individuals; I address only their roles in the pseudotheological
space known as "rec.audio.opinion".
