The stock stereo in my '99 Honda Civic has played its last CD and I'm
thinking of replacing it with a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP. I'm just curious
if anyone has experience with this receiver and if this is a good buy
compared to what else is out there. I'm looking to spend around $300.
I like that this receiver plays MP3s and I'm planning on using the aux
input for my iPod. I don't plan on adding a power amp or subwoofer,
although I may eventually replace the stock front and rear speakers
with aftermarkets.

Is this a good receiver or is there something better out there in my
price range?
