XM Radio Hookup...
I know its not a *car* but can someone help me with a truck/XM
question? Question: GMC Sierra 2004 pickup with factory installed XM radio...is the XM radio built into the FM radio? Any info on how they run the antenna feed from the roof mounted XM radio "pimple" down into the dash? Thanks, Jupiter |

XM Radio Hookup...
I Don't have a GMC Sierra. However, if it's like most factory releases, the
radio head is merely XM radio "capable:" the radio head is fed by a cable from a separate XM radio receiver mounted elsewhere in the vehicle. The antenna feeds the XM receiver, not the radio. You can pull the radio head and trace the data cable back to wherever the XM receiver is located. Ed in Greensboro, nc "jupiter renaldo" wrote in message om...
