Playlist formats
Hello to everyone,
I'm not a pro but I'd like to get an answer from a pro regarding this thing I'm inquiring about. I have completed one big mp3 compilation and I'd like to send a copy of it on a DVD to my friends worldwide. I'd like to add to this compilation several playlists depending on genres this compilation of mine contains. Considering that I don't know on what kind of devices this DVD will be played and having in mind that there are various playlist formats in use, I'm not sure which one to choose. I'd like to make it as universal as possible and therefore I'd like to hear an advice which playlist format should I use? Is there such format recognizable for standard DVD devices with mp3 support, car stereos, winamp or win media player etc? For instance, winamp offers M3U and PLS formats... Can these winamp playlists be recognized at conventional DVD players/recorders with mp3 support? Thanks in advance! L.V. |

You obtained the rights to, or have created that much music that you need a DVD to store it all on? John LeBlanc Houston, TX |
