Default best sound quality for auto portable cd-mp3?

Hi,

I have a tdk mojo cd-mp3, sounds great, use it with the car, however
due to some other equipment fuzzing out on me, I use it at home now.
I got a sony atrac3plus for the car--and the mojo just kills it for
quality. I use the same cassette interface so that should'nt matter.
There are tons of cdplayers out there--is there one that is
noted for superior sound? I don't really need the big navigation
screen and software that the tdk charges out the nose for, or
I would just get another tdk--plus the tdk for some reason went
*up in price, duh, from 70 to 130.

Thanks,

Mark
