Hi there. A friend of mine has two Kicker Solo-Baric L7 12s. He just
purchased an Alpine MRD-500 amp. I'm just looking for opinions on
this combo. Perhaps an estimate on SPL? Other amp choices(from
experience)? Any input at all.

Also, he's already planning on purchasing another amp. Would it be
better to get the MRD-1000 and use the MRD-500 for other components,
or get another MRD-500 and put one to each sub? Why?
