Does anyone out there know more about the technical specs on the 7
speaker - 6 cd/cassette stereo system in the LX/ES Tribs?

What I am after more specifically is what kind of system is driving
the speakers and is there an amp that is tied to the system. There are
two front, two mids, and two rear speakers with a smaller sub in the
back. The system pounds out pretty good base, but what I am after is
to switch out the amp (if there is one) and change it to a different
amp and maybe a different sub as well. I am not sure if the sub is
just tied in with the rest of the speakers or is it on a dedicated
channel.
