I downloaded Tracktion when they were doing the free license promotion,
and it seems to be a very nice program. However, while it supports
envelopes for plugin parameters, it doesn't appear to support MIDI
controller envelopes. This is a problem for my Garritan Personal
Orchestra plugin, which is hard-coded to use CC #1 (modulation
controller) for controlling an instrument's expression. True, I could
draw a series of individual controller events, but that's a rather
messy solution and a complete pain to edit compared to dragging nodes
on an actual envelope.

Am I overlooking something here? Is there actually some way to make
MIDI CC envelopes in Tracktion? And if not, is there some plugin out
there that would allow me to use plugin parameter envelopes to send CC
events?
