Default AMS RMX-16

Does anyone here know how to reinitialize an AMS RMX-16?Any help would be
reatly appreciated.

I don't think there is a reinitialisation process as such.
If you want to initialise the internal memories, you can briefly short out
the backup battery supply (with the unit switched off) by grounding the 100
ohm resistor in series with the battery (do NOT ground the battery itself,
but the other side of the 100 ohm resistor which is also connected to a
couple of 10k resistors and one of the pins of the 6116 RAM chip).

Check the voltage on the battery before you do this. If it isn't 3.6 volts
or so the battery is dead and should be replaced before it starts leaking.
