Default My last step into the all digital world

When my analog tape machine brke I got a computer based recorder but I kept
using a hardware mixer and outboard gear. Little by little I gave up one
peice after another until all that was left was a couple synths. I now want
to get rid of it and use either a software synth or sampler. What is the
best one to get in terms of ease of use, cost, good sound etc.

Thanks,

Al

For the price, stability, and quality of the program I gotta recommend
Reason as a catch-all for what you've listed. Can't go wrong with it
and a few decent sample libraries.

Ditto. Reason and Nuendo or Cubase. With all of the reason 'refill' sample
sets and some good VST instruments for Nuendos or Cubase.

That'll do.
