I have a Ford Aerostar that I would like to upgrade for MP3 CD
playback. Here's my weird plan: install an MP3-compatible CD changer with FM broadcast, and have the option of listening via the factory radio or on personal FM headphone receivers. This would allow some passengers (my kids) to listen to the changer while others listen to the radio or nothing, all at their own preferred volume level. This will also allow me to easily move the changer between vehicles. I think this is a GREAT idea. Am I wrong? Is there a CD changer out there that plays MP3s and broadcasts (not hardwires) FM to the receiver? Or is there a relatively good separate broadcasting FM modulator available? Thanks! Don |
