Is a Head Unit that is 4x50w the same as getting an amp that is 4
channels at 50w per channel?

My car has 8 speakers in all Volvo s60. Im having the front door and
back speakers replaced with Orion p6.2 componet (front doors) Orion
coaxil in back.

Would I be better off getting and AMP for the Orions or just let the
HU power them?
