I wonder if there's anybody out here who can help me:

I transfered my Kenwood KDC7021 to my new car and when I want to start
it the display only reads' Transmit1 [ ]' which means that I have
to use my mask key according to the manual.

But after pressing and holding the button on my mask key nothing
happens. I am very sure that the mask key sends a signal (I checked
this with my reprogrammable remote control and the remote controls
detects a signal) but no mather where I point my mask key nothing
happens.

So my question is : Does anyone one where the IR receiver on my
Kenwood is located? Because the manual tells me to hold the mask key
right in front of the IR receiver.
