Default FS: Cherry Otari MTR-90 III in the Northeast

Yes kids, I'm selling my still young, well cared for 2" 24 track
recorder. It's gonna go up on ebay if no one here's interested. And
yes, for most music, it sounds better than Protools HD.

Machine is in *very* good condition. Has freshly relapped heads by JRF
and - something you virtually NEVER see with a used 24 track - a JRF
Head Report - 66% head life on rec and play heads, 95% on erase.

I have never had a single problem with this deck, as it has been well
cared for. It is visually excellent, no bangs, dents or scratches. Of
course if works just fine and has most of its life still in front of
it. This ain't the usual burnt out 24 track often found on the used
market.

The Series III comes with the Otari remote & the more expensive
99-point memory CB-120 auto-locator, Otari service manual, an extender
card, spare audio card, recent 2" MRL test tape, Athan tape rollers,
and all the spart parts I have.

If you are interested or have any questions, you can email or call. I
will be uploading some pictures. Price is a measly $6,500. Remember,
this is a Series III mtr 90, not a Series II. The ebay price will be
higher.

You can read about the $12,000 price reduction that dropped the price
of a new MTR-90 III in 2002 to $35,000 here in Mix Magazine:
