Hallo!
Sometimes I use my Lexicon as an additional AD converter. But only for dummy tracks like pilot guitar, pilot vocals etc. So it doesn´t matter. But I'm wondering how good they (generally, not only my MPX) really are. I have not the time to make long AB sessions and I have not the the equipment to measure. In my subjective opinion they sound better than those of the old black face ADAT. So, are FX an alternative to extra converters? BTW. externally synced of course to be in sync with the other ADCs. I can't comment on the quality of A/D in the MPX, but it's hard to conceive of worse A/D converters than on the original ADATs. -jw |
