Default 1 chamber Vs 2

if one was to run 2 or more subs from 1 amp channel (or level matched
seperate channels or amps) is there any advantage/ disadvantage in having 1
chamber in an enclosure for all subs vs having seperate chambers for each
woofer. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The box would be stiffer with two chambers.
